Looking for a muffler

Has anyone had any luck finding a muffler for a 75 Bricklin? I lost mine
somewhere on the PA tunrpike. A lot of the muffler shops say that they have
replacements but I don't want to lose the "purr" sound that the car makes.
I was told to look at replacement mufflers for a trans-am or fire bird from
about 78. I called a few parts stores but they needed to know what type of
engine on the firebird etc. I was also told that the orginal Brick muffler
was all aluminum. Any suggetions?
