wires located under seat?

When I took me seats out to clear some more space in the cabin to get at the
dash, I noticed a wire with a  connector on the end coming out of the seat.
This was not hooked up to anything. Does anybody know what this wire is for?
I was thinking something like a seat heater or something like that, but I
don't have a clue!
