Helper springs are only designed to progressively stiffen the main spring set after a certain amount of sag has occurred such as when carrying a heavy load. In normal everyday use they don't help except at the extremes of control. GM -----Original Message----- >Tanner recommends putting an extra leaf spring on the 74 cars.
