Perhaps I did not make myself clear on my plans to paint VIN 1758...

First, I will apply the water based sealer before painting.
Second, I am NOT going to buy paint from home depot or any place like that.
I DO plan to use the same type of paint they use at body shops; a type that
would be compatible with the acrylic/fiberglass panels. However, instead of
going to a body shop, which would cost $1000 for a good paint job, I will have
the paint put into a spray can so I can paint the car myself. There is a
place near me that puts automotive paint in a can for about $25.

I also need to cut a small hole in the fiberglass panel just above the door
switch on the driver's side. The hole is NOT round. A security indicator
light will be installed there. What is the best way to do this?

Also, the ACE II keylock on the '75 models: can I use it as a battery
disconnect switch? I have an 800 amp/hour battery. If not, would it be safe
to up the starter or ignition instead? Where can I get another keylock for
the pasenger door that would work with my existing key?

We also need to put photos on the web site that demonstrate the safety
features of the SV1. I can scan a few photos and write up a brief description
of crashed bricks from the Brickline. then we can convert them to HTML and
post 'em =)

Lemme know what you think
