Street Tire class for Z06?

I have a new Corvette Z06, but none of my racing gear including wheels/tires
transfer over from my old SM2 car. I want to run a season on street tires to
help get me use to this new beast - so is there any class that I can run in
against other cars also running street tires?  Or should I just jump into
ASP or SM2 and expect to not be competitive this year?
