I wanted to thank everyone for an awesome Autox day with another magically
appearing Ben Martinez course. I have to say a huge thanks to Tom Grote for
co-chairing with me. His advice and decisions made the day great. We had
over 200 entries and we were able to give fun runs at the end of the day
with winter daylight hours. Thanks to Les Brown for his guidance, having the
motorhome at the site early, and for indulging us to allow fun runs. Also my
thanks to Tim Dolan for convincing me to have a go at chairing and the
support info he provided was invaluable.
As Mike said we have come a long way since the beginning of the year. Robin
Yang is definitely the hero of the year. It's interesting to watch everyone
in the motorhome. When something gets screwed up, everyone stops and looks
around with that "Oh S@##" look and the next instant calls go out for Robin.
Thanks again Robin!
This was my first time chairing an event and I was a bit worried about how
it would all go, the people I mentioned all made the day come together very
easily, Thanks again.
