...in the Jr. Puma class in the Yokohama Karting Championship Series at the
Russell Racing/Infineon Kart facility.
Being this was his first full year in wheel to wheel kart racing and he was
racing against other jr. karters and teams with many years experience, this is
quite an accomplishment for the LeMans Karting/Mottaz Motorsports driver.
I am certainly proud of his efforts this year. Plans for next year are to move
up to the Jr. Rotax class. The Jr. Rotax is a restricted 125cc spec TAG (touch
and go) engine. The motors are sealed and essentially identical. This makes
the series more of a driver's series and not one where the team with the most
$$ wins.
