The details are below. Please contact Melissa Flesher at the National Office

There are plenty of opportunities to watch some of the racing while you are
there.

The Details

Date: October 20, 21, 22, 2006

Where: Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca at the SCCA Pro Racing trailer

When: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Who: 2-4 SCCA members who are outgoing, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about

SCCA. They should also possess good communications skills, be personable and
be

able to stand or sit for extended periods of time.

Task: To assist the SCCA event marketing efforts in fulfilling sponsorship
commitments and creating a friendly atmosphere. The marketing department tent
in the paddock next to the SCCA World Challenge trailer needs to be staffed
with two people during the posted times, but they can rotate shifts so that no
one person is there the entire time. The on-site tasks will include but may
not be limited to:

7 Create a welcoming and inviting area in which to talk with spectators
about SCCA and answering questions

7 Stock and maintain sponsor brochure rack

7 Engage spectators by inviting them to fill out the Fan Participation
survey; place completed survey in container to be given to SCCA Pro Racing
staff person

7 Engage spectators by inviting them to fill out the slip for the free
drawing for the Piloti shoes, the Official Footwear of SCCA SPEED World
Challenge Championships. Specific details of the drawing will be available at
the event.

7 Other as necessary and reasonable.

Attire: Personnel should be aware of any branding on the clothing they will
be wearing for the event. The branding can not conflict with the sponsors we
are servicing for the weekend. Examples of appropriate brands are: San
Francisco Region, or that of the event and event sponsors.

How do I say Yes to serving as an event volunteer: by contacting Melissa
Flesher

by phone at 800-770-2055 ext: 332 or by email at mflesher@scca.com. Please
contact Melissa no later than Monday October 17, 2006 with the names of the
volunteers and with any questions you may have regarding this opportunity.
