I've got to second that. Once we got past the rough start, the event
ran itself. I want to thank everyone who pitched in, and all the
people who stepped up to work extra run groups in the morning when we
were short-handed. The afternoon was just fantastic, the fun runs
went smoothly, and I swear I've never seen the motorhome packed up
faster.
Chairing an event is always a powerful reminder of how awesome the
people in this region are. Ben drove the motorhome and designed the
course, and was instrumental in getting it set up FAST! Jeremy was
the first person at the site, and was there when we closed the door
on the motorhome. Alan stepped up for the novice drivers meeting
since I failed to print out notes on what to talk about! (It's been
a while for me!) And so many more people did extra stuff to help us
out.
Thanks again, everyone!
