For SFR regular season events:
 
In 2000 with an average attendance of 236 and no tour or divisional counting 
for points, 891 individuals scored points. 153 ran half of the events or more 
for 17%.
 
In 2005 with an average attendance of 214 and around 45 Sacramento, Fresno, and 
AAS individuals running just the tour, 671 individuals scored points. 173 ran 
half of the events or more for 25%. 27% if you take out the 45 one-timers from 
the tour.
 
Fewer occasional participants, more regional competitors. Not just a percentage 
change either. 265 fewer day trippers and  20 more competitors.
