How about a 4" mini orange rubber cone with appropriate logo/text on it
one can place on top the car on grid. Newbies walking up and down grid
trying to find small stickers on windows isn't going to fly well I
think, but scanning roofs for a cone which the driver can put up or take
down as needed just like a taxi in-service light seems easy.
Yes, I know, this suggestion requires both money and time from some new
hypothetical volunteer since existing hypothetical volunteers are
already overworked.
For those of you looking to participate in the parallel 'ride along
before timed run gives an unfair advantage' argument, the line forms in
the green room at stage right, take a number and warm up your email
client and I'm sure your thread will be on in just a few minutes.
