" After the

1) The Lockheed club started staging members-only events long (years)
before the Northern California Sports Car Council departed the autocross
scene.
2) What's the "ahem" for? The NCSCC died as an autocross entity because the
leadership faded. They had a "lock" on the Pleasanton Fairgrounds but
nobody in the NCSCC had the get up and go to find another site when that
went away circa 1990. In addition, none of the member clubs looked for new
members. That's a recipe for "departing."
