Well, perhaps in the confines of an autocross course they are.  I had the
pleasure of driving one at Streets of Willow Springs last weekend and the
car was fantastic.  Loved the balance.  Anyone want to buy an MR2 for $20k?
;)

I would imagine the most difficult part of autocrossing an S2k would be
keeping it on the cam.
