Just FYI -
OK, upfront, I'm a Tour newbie, never been. Plans changed and I decided I
could make the event. Yesterday evening I was still able to sign up for this
event online. However, someone should make it clear up front that one MUST
sign on to PayPal to be able to do this. Assuming that everyone has or wants
PayPal is just as rude as putting up a Web site with no consideration to those
who do not have a high speed line - that is, your users are not absolutely
required to do it that way, but you make it a lot tougher on them if they don't
follow along with you.
In addition, PayPal had congestion or heavy traffic and it took literally a
couple of hours of trying occasionally to get signed in there! If anyone has a
separate address for the registrar that I could pass these comments along to, I
would appreciate it.
That said, are there many SFR folks at the "usual" Atwater Applegate Inn,
rather than the Tour's listed Holiday Inn Express which is like 3 miles further
from the site? For any feedback to this, you are invited to respond to me
directly rather than just posting to the list, if you wish.

p.s. I picked up a few extra square feet of magnetic material for the
Tour/Solo2 stickers, and will be happy to sell pieces of it for backing the
stickers at the event. I should be down there mid-day Friday.
