Maybe, maybe not -- but they got to me ; -)
Basically this was a test of mid level 1970s tire
technology vs modern tires. The E Type had
Michelin Red Line tires, which are really bad tires.
They were OK in the 70s, but by today's standards...
No way they can match whatever Honda delivers on
the van. They brought in the classics to bring attention
to what was basically a Michelin ad.
Looking at how the car does here on Kumhos vs
Boxsters and S2000s in very talented hands, I think
that it's pretty good for a 40 year old car...How do you
figure the minivan would do against a stock Honda
S2000?
I demand a rematch!
