I'm no authority on anything but my Tokico Illuminas are great. I have been
beating on them for about five years almost every day for about 50,000 miles
and they are still as good as the day I bought them. I usually enter thirty
or so autocrosses a year and as a daily driver. It is just amazing. Koni's
have a reputation for being better at the track but I hear so much bad
publicity about leaking and breaking they wouldn't last long on my Mustang.
You can get better struts an shocks but it will cost you a lot more and the
longevity is questionable. Reliability, longevity, and price are at the top
of my list. KYB's are cheaper but are very tough too. My two cents.

I have KYB Illuminas on a Mustang, and they have lasted almost 2 seasons
now, but I think the authority on this for Mustangs is Kirk Meline. I
believe he also uses Illuminas and believe me he drives harder. Perhaps he
is reading this? Kirk, your 2 cents?
