The common Motul 600 (RBF600) is a synthetic DOT 4
fluid and fine for seals (synthetic does NOT equal
silicon). Actual silicon based brake fluids will
likely be a problem. However Motul is indeed more
hygroscopic than most other brake fluids, so requires
more frequent bleeding.
