I think if the SC wants to do this, it needs to publicize the change all 
year.

1) At registration
2) At driver's meetings
3) In the results
4) On the website

Then, when someone says "I didn't know" we can tell them "Sorry, we've been 
telling you all year.  No response, no trophy."
