I also have a special Ford tool for this. It is made of steel and has a
special grip made of rubber on the handle. It is about a foot and a half
long. Its main use is in the home improvement department. The business end
even has a 'fix what you did wrong the first time'. I can sell you mine
which is still in good condition for a premium. Its common name is
"Hammer".
Good luck
Kirk

I have a very expensive BMW special tool for this. It's made of a long
piece of wood and it is perfectly round. It's made in such a way that it
has increasing diameter as you move away from the handle, good for fine
adjustment as you are rolling the fender. Some people like to call it a
baseball bat, but it's much more than that. :)

Don't forget to heat up the fender lips so you won't chip the paint.
