The August 2002 issue of North American Pylon is now on its way to
subscribers.
This is the annual Pick the Winners issue.
The brave soul who has been doing our picking for over 10
years is Big Dick Berger, now freshly moved back to his native Kansas City
area after a several year sojurn in Georgia.
Joining Berger this year are Heywood Wagner and Jeff
Winchell. Winchell has compiled a statistical analysis of both Pro Solo and
the National Tours to predict the winners. Wagner has been the SCCA's
on-site press correspondent and he's made his selections based on
first-hand viewings of the proceedings.
Will they be right? To find out check out our October issue. If any
one of these guys is as good as they claim to be we could avoid staging the
National Solo II Runoffs.
