MessageSorry, the only autocross content is that Ecurie Ecrevisse
is a long time autocross organization in SFR -- "Crawfish=20
Racing Stable".
Ecurie Ecrevisse is also a bike team!
We ride the Waves to Wine ride for a cure to Multiple Sclerosis.
Itr's coming up soon, and any of the bicycle autocrossers on
the list are welcome to join. It's for a good cause (you do have
to get contributions from your friends), and it's a very beautiful
and reasonable ride -- 25, 50, 75, or 100 miles per day. Headquarters
is in Santa Rosa. Plus you get a cool Ecrevisse for your helmet
(see below) and a team T-shirt.
If you're interested, let me know and sign up as below.
Sorry for the bandwidth --

Importance: High
Hello family and friends,
You're receiving this note because you've expressed interest in riding =
in this year's MS Waves to Wine charity bike ride. Last year we formed =
a MegaTeam called Ecurie E'crevisse (Crawfish Racing Stables) and had a =
lot of fun. We want to create an even bigger team this year. The =
advantage of riding in a team is that we get customized t-shirts, =
participate in team competitions (e.g. best helmet decorations, team =
name, size of team, fund raising goals...), you get great support from =
your other teammates and we get to cheer each other on.=20
This is a fantastic event that combines a beautiful route, great =
exercise, a worthy cause and a lot of fun. You can ride either or both =
days. Each day you can choose to ride the 25, 50, 75 or 100 route. =
There is plenty of time to get in shape for the ride and I've found that =
participating in the ride gives me extra incentive to exercise (I need =
all the help I can get.) The event is very well organized and they have =
rest stops and sag wagon support throughout the course.
For more information about the ride please go to =
http://msconnection.org/events/waves2wine/info.htm
To ride, you must secure a minimum of $250 in sponsorship pledges. A =
minimum of $125 must be turned in before the tour or at check-in for the =
event; the remainder of your pledges are due on October 31. You'll find =
it surprisingly easy to collect pledges: just ask ten friends for $25! =
Last year the average rider raised over $550. We'll mail you fundraising =
tips along with your sponsorship forms when we receive your registration =
form. And it's not completely unselfish: the more you raise, the better =
prizes you earn!
Use the link below to register for the ride as soon as possible. The =
registration page has our team number prefilled in.

I will be sending more information later. It looks like we have a large =
number of people interested this year and I encourage you to forward =
this note to any other family and friends who may be interested in the =
event. Also, for any non-bike riders there are volunteers opportunities =
that are a lot of fun. Please contact me if you have any questions or =
need additional information.
