Wally Sinclair

Wally Sinclair retired from autocrossing in the mid-'80s. He had a Lotus
Super 7 with a twin cam engine which is now in his son Mike's  Lodi garage
less engine.
Wally had been afflicted with Multiple Sclerosis and he decided to quit the
game when he realized he was no longer in complete control of his car. 
Mike called last week to tell me his father died May 16. He was 65.
        At his request there were no memorial services. Mike plans to
spread his father's ashes in the Pacific Ocean.
