Note that the message I posted was not intended to be a slam on ADDS. I
hope no one, especially Barry/ADDS, interpreted it that way. If I post
message meant to be a slam or criticism, you'll know it for sure :-).
My message was prompted by some earlier messages about the Falken Azenis
tires which mentioned ADDS in them.

Barry's reply pretty much confirms what I was trying to get across in my
post: If you are in a hurry, make sure you get your stuff to ADDS in
the M-Th window. However, after reading Barry's reply, I should amend
this to say this is only true if you order your wheels/tires from
another business. Last time I talked to Barry, I was given the
impression that Fridays were their 'car dealership only days.' But in
light of Barry's reply this appears to be a misinterpretation on my
part. I appologize for that. It appears that if you order your stuff
from ADDS, they will try to take care of you on Friday. Let me say
again that you can't blame ADDS for this policy, since doing labor-only
type work (mounting tires bought elsewhere) can't be that profitable.
My first post made this clear also :-).

Unfortunately for me, due to the timing of bending my rim and how long
it took TR to ship my tires, my tires arn't going to arrive at ADDS
until today (Friday), and I already know they don't have time for TR
work today. I wouldn't have a problem waiting until monday for the work
to be done, except for the fact that I'm on a 'donut' spare tire, need
to drive my car this weekend, and I can't drive the car on the donut
very long without damaging the drivetrain. I have a Mits Eclipse GSX
AWD, which uses a viscous center diff. Since my aftermarket tires/rims
(245/45/R17) are slightly smaller in diameter than the stockers, this
puts stress on the VC unit, and can cause it to burn up and do other bad
things. So I need to get the new tires on ASAP.

Unfortunately, I'll have to go pick up my tires at ADDS and take it to
another shop to do this. I'd rather have ADDS do it, since I've come to
distrust the big tire chains stores in the area. I've had more than a
few tires mounted with bad balance, backward, wrong side, bad torque on
the lugs, etc, etc. So I'm going to try another one of the TR
reccommended installers. Hopefully I'll be able to avoid 'Bruno', as
Barry put it. :-)
