Dealers may not but it's fairly well known, at least in the VW world, that
VWoA like to peruse club sites and even carshows to collect info on who
has what done to their cars.  You can imagine what they would use such
info for when Johnny 1.8T makes a claim that his turbo blew up (while
unbeknownst to VW Johnny was running 578psi boost...)
