Geez just take it Jeff Jio's Firestone in Mountian View. If you talk to
Jeff he is a very cool guy and an x-autocrosser. He can also get you
Kumho race tires. Or just call Cut tires 1-888-775-8646.

I wasn't very happy with the America's Tire in Mountain View. They
quoted me $70 for mount and balance over the phone, which they said
was for balancing on the Hunter GSP9700 machine. When I arrived, they
tried to increase the price and then mounted and balanced the tires
with the standard low-budget equipment. The GSP9700 machine was
broken. In their favor, the tech that put the wheels back on did use
the torque wrench I brought to torque down the lugnuts.

I have heard more positive things about the America's Tire in San
Jose. On Brokaw? I don't remember.

Firestone at Wolfe and Kifer in Sunnyvale was cheap and very friendly,
but the guy had a heck of a time getting the PZeros off and even more
trouble getting the Kumhos on. I was afraid he was going to break his
tire levers, they were flexing so much. The result was multiple nicks
in my rims. He also used an impact wrench on the lugnuts, so I got
quite a workout taking the wheels off that evening.
