Way back in dark history in the NorCal Council we did have a rule like
that. All stock class cars had to be driven to an event, which were mostly
at the fairgrounds in Pleasanton.
A smart guy trailered his Corvette to the adjacent lot and then drove his
car about 100 yards to the event.
