There used to be a PAX class. We all ran in one group, so rain never
messed up our scoring, and season points were indeed kept. Our rule is
you can ride with someone any ol' time. The class disappeared because no
one consistently was running in it... except for me... so I got pretty
nice trophy out of it and it makes me look cool.
Personally, I feel that since its disappearance, the level of our
regular class competition has improved tremendously.

Subject: SFR "Pro" class rules
Could anyone send me the rules for SFR's "Pro" class (can't remember if
that's what it's really called but it's the PAX indexed class). My
understanding from the few times I've ran in SFR is that Pro class
competitors can ride with anyone before their runs and that no season
points are kept. Is this correct? Are there any other unique rules? Any
other info you can send me about this class would be appreciated as I am
putting together a proposal to replace our (Northwest Region) "serious"
Pro class with a more informal class since rain totally goofs up our
season points scheduling and too many people are taking things way to
seriously.
Thanks!
