Well, evolution is a wonderful thing. Define "essential positions". Most of
the worker jobs on the front page are pretty essential, unless you are not
normally doing those jobs. The course worker signup is on the back, I assume
because of the large number of names it must accomodate. Having some of the
course worker names in front wouldn't eliminate the need to flip to the back
side. Just my opinion, but it seems that if there is a lack of course
workers in a given run group, its probably due more to the smaller turn-out
in classes assigned to that work group. If there are a ton of cars in run
group 5 and few workers, doesn't that mean we will have few cars in run group
7 and lots of workers in 7 ?? It's all a balancing act ain't it ? I'm sure
its harder than hell to anticipate the size of any given car class. Maybe
the run group moves for slush have something to do with this. I respectfully
don't know since I haven't the experience of chairing or evaluating run group
assignments. Sherry says people are working, that says a lot.
