Need help with a Starion/Conquest.

I found a beatup conquest for sale and I was thinking about buying it.  I
wanted to ask those who already own these cars if there was anything I should
know about them before I get stuck with it.   It doesn't run and the owner
doesn't know why.  I'm going back for a second look to get the vin, milage,
etc.

So do these things have a personality quirk I should know about?
