I just got this message from some friends in Idaho
that may be of interest to someone. The car is the ex-
Charlie Cave car as I recall and has a very good
national competition record. I bet Pat knows exactly
what it has done. The Fletchers email id is

divisional or a hillclimb you know this green Elan and
the Fletchers. Previously they ran a pink vintage
Titan BM class car.
Hi, Hale People! Hope all is going well and that the
autocross/race season is going well.
Charles and I have had a bit of a turbulent time since
the end of March....Charles had a heart attack and
damned near died. He has the paramedics to thank for
still being here. He is doing pretty well now and is
doing all the things the doctor says to do. He has
quit smoking....he says that being on a ventilator
leaves a lot to be desired!
We have decided, however, to sell the Lotus. We've
decided to go to stock class (less on-going
maintenance, less work for Charles, etc.) and plan on
buying a Honda S2000. But to do that, we need to sell
the Lotus. So, we just wanted to let you know in case
someone you know may want a Lotus Elan.
The engine was freshened this winter, has a new clutch
with new friction surfaces and a brand new set of
wheels (never been on the car).
Actually,there are another four sets of wheels that
would go with it (don't ask). We have the mold for the
front air dam and a few miscellaneous parts.
The trailer is available also. We are asking $16,000
for the car, wheels, mold and parts.
