Well, I finally joined the camcorder age and picked one up a couple of weeks
ago (Panasonic PV-DV100 : decent features, digital, Firewire, AND a $100
rebate on them right now!).
Of course, this means that goal #1 is to rig this sucker up so I too can
take cool in-car AutoX videos :^)
I don't have a rollbar in the car, and no plans to mount one in there
anytime soon.
I remember seeing this COOL camera mount in a car a few events back (I think
the car was an Audi S4, but might be wrong on that) that would be ideal.
Namely, it was an aluminum bracket that mounted to the passenger front seat
headrest (around the 2 metal supports for the headrest) and then had a
standard camera mount on the side. This would be PERFECT for my use!
Any idea where to get this item, how much $$$, etc?
