So my wife goes to the SCCA website and buys me this great T-shirt for my
birthday. Few days later there are about 4-5 charges on her card she never
authorized. That blows.

Dear SCCAStore.com/Sport Service Customer,
The Internet management company for SCCAStore.com has notified us that a
hacker group discovered and compromised a previously unknown hole within
the security code for the shopping cart software that is used for
SCCAStore.com.
The company providing the security software, PDG, made this discovery as
it has impacted all e-commerce sites using their products. This illegal
activity resulted in the theft of information, including credit card
numbers, for individuals having made online purchases through hundreds of
e-commerce Internet sites using PDG's shopping cart software, including
SCCAStore.com.
Due to additional security procedures established by our Internet company,
we believe this breach was limited to only information from SCCAStore.com
customers who had made their online purchases between the dates of
February 1 through April 3 of this year. However, as a precaution, we are
sending this notification to all individuals that we show as SCCAStore.com
Internet customers of Sport Service.
PDG Software has been in contact with law enforcement authorities
including the FBI and Secret Service, who have begun an investigation into
this multi-site attack. Additionally, Sport Service and PDG have begun
contacting the banks and credit card companies we do business with
directly. The credit card companies will typically work to alert card
issuers and other banks so that they can take any and all necessary steps
to ensure the security of any affected cardholders.
The security of your information is of paramount importance to Sport
Service and our vendors, and we have attempted to remain as vigilant to
maintain our security at the highest level, as technology will allow.
Immediate actions have been taken to patch this breach. An entirely new
software program has been put in place at SCCAStore.com, as well as
additional layers of server fortification are being purchased and
installed immediately. Again, the maintenance and development of security
measures and technology is an ongoing process that we will always maintain
as a high priority.
We deeply regret any and all inconvenience that this situation may cause
you. Additionally, we recommend that you contact your credit card issuer
directly to decide what actions are best to protect yourself from any
unauthorized and illegal use of any cards you have used to purchase
products online through SCCAStore.com, and other sites using the PDG
software.
Again, our sincerest apologies. If you have any questions, we will do our
best to answer them. Please contact 1-800-745-6472 and ask for the
Customer Service department.
Sincerely,
Tom Brazill
President
Sport Service, Inc.
