Hi folks,
I just noticed while thumbing through the current C&D that I have now had
two cars named after me this year! First Daimler Chrysler used my initials
for that delightful retro-toaster, the PT Cruiser. And just recently, the
Paris Auto Show was the site of the world premeire of the Lada Peter Turbo.
What can I say? I'm flattered. Here's what C&D had to say:
"Designed in the Autovaz styling center in Togliatti... the Lada Peter Turbo
is a concept car that seems to prove, once again, that established
automakers have nothing to fear from the Russian motor industry. As its
name implies, there's a turbo down there somewhere, but the most notable
feature is the paint, a fetching shade of lilac that looks as if it were
applied with a broom."
