Ok, that sounds good. Let's try this then:

Viper GTS-R Team Oreca
2 consecutive flying laps
60 minutes once car dialed in
No wall riding etc.

Have fun:):)

Well there are a couple ways to do it. If we decide on 2 laps, we could
use
several different formats. There is the two consecutive flying laps
method,
in Time Trail mode. Or there is the two first laps format, even though
the
first lap is a semi-flying lap. Or we could make it a little more
interesting and use an arcade disc Race. A little traffic never hurt
nobody
(in this game anyway!). ;) That would include a standing start and
having
to work your way to the front. We could set it to any difficulty level
depending on what people want.

As for the lap limit, there are many ways to do this too. I've been in
races where there was a run limit - in fact I "invented" this rule way
back
in the day ;). Say, six runs only, and if you spin out tough cookies.
Or
there is the time limit, where once you have the car tuned to your
liking,
you can run for 60 minutes and take your best results.

Of course, there should always be rules regarding off-course excursions,
shortcuts, and wall-riding. I don't think we have much to worry about
in
this group, but I thought I'd mention it so we have everything clear.
:)
The most common rule I came accross was, always keep at least one wheel
completely on the pavement (or curb) and stay off the walls.

Gotta run! Have a GPL online race about to start. =)
