Yah... unfortunately, this little mishap demonstrates exactly what can
happen when a driver pushes a very powerful, unfamiliar car, on cold
tires and cold track. 

The hit was very hard: both Dan and Dave were unconscious when the ETMs
reached the car, and a fire had started in the engine compartment. It's
quite fortunate the accident occurred just oustide the back paddock
gate...
