And he's .2 out of second, and about a second out of first behind Hoelscher,
who's been dominating DSP as of late. This is certainly the best Arie has
ever done. He has great reason to be proud. Tomorrow could be his day.
Kevin McCormick is sitting in sixth, but only .3 away from victory. Just to
show you how tight the competition is, only 1 second separates 1st through
18th.
Pam Kannan is in second in DPL, but the one in the lead is not who you might
expect, as Paula Whitney, the class favorite, is in THIRD. Ginna Blair,
Paula's daughter, is leading the class. This is quite shocking, as Ginna has
improved by leaps and bounds. Pam's about .5 behind, so of course, the door
is wide open. I know Ginna. She's quite funny and personable, so this is
really cool. I just can't believe how much she's improved, in just about the
course of a few months. Unbelievable. Just last March, at the San Bernadino
Pro, she was joking that we all bring something different to autocross, and
in her case, it's not driving talent. We all said, "No, Ginna, don't talk
like that." What a turn around. Awesome.
Still, you know where my loyalty is. Go Pam!
Next up, D Modified and C Stock Ladies. Can Ron Babb finally overtake Chris
O'Donnell? Can Chris McKinney defend her title?
