You don't HAVE to run GGF if you don't want to. Yesterday the Sacramento
Chapter had an event at Mather Field. And NASA had an event at Marina, too.
Thank you for attending a San Francisco Region event. 

That's all we can get. You could do us a big favor if you landed a site
near San Jose.
Moffett Field has already said "no." And so has Great America. The Santa
Clara Co. Fairgrounds has this gravel lot which is, uh, not suitable. You
positive thoughts in the future will be appreciated

GGF is presently a superior surface to 3 Com and/or the Oakland Coliseum.
And it's bigger than Stockton. Without GGF in our possibilities we will be
running considerably beyond our local neighborhood. It is the BEST we can
do at this time. It combines 
        1) a reasonable, but aging, surface; 
        2) outstanding location central in the Bay Area;
        3) reasonable rental fees;
        4) a management that's easy to work with.
