No - the four wire is probably 1.) a running light hot (which will be fed to
both rear bulbs), 2.) a left brake/turn, 3.) a right brake/turn and 4.)a
ground. This set-up is used when the towing vehicle uses a common brake/turn
filiment. But, although many cars use the same filiment in the bulb for both,
many use a separate brake light and turn light circuit. If your MR2 does, you
will likely need a relay. It depend on your car's wiring whether you need a
