Hi all,

I'm going to make my car more fun to drive. I want it to produce
the maximum horsepower possible while staying street legal,
passing smog, maintaining good midrange torque and not impairing
the life or reliability of the engine. Basically I want to take
it from SS to ASP, but keep it a legal and fun street car. I know
the 3rd gen '7 can do all of the above if the work is done right.

The car is a '95 with 35k miles already set up with the strut
tower brace, tri point swaybar, GAB super R shocks, Kuhmo
245x45x16 tires on the stock wheels, straight pipe catback
exhaust and (yes I know this makes it SS illegal) front swaybar
braces and stainless steel brake lines.

I'm looking to do easy stuff like put in the 2nd oil cooler and
replace the hoses and intake parts with the newer (post '95 model
year) stuff. But I also want to do more extensive mods like and
modifying intake air routing, replacing the stock computer &
timing system (but keep stock boost pressures), replacing the
intercooler, etc.

I'm looking for an experienced opinion regarding which mods make
the biggest difference in performance, and where is the best
place to have the mods done. I just called Paul at Rotorsport and
he says he's booked for months in advance, so it will have to be
somewhere else.

TIA,
