..some of us Miata guys were thinking we're getting
near to a critical mass and able to run our own
events, the rules will be as follows:
1) No Porsche's allowed. Not never. No. Don't ask.
2) BMW's can run in an 'X' class, but only at the end
of the day when the sun is in your eyes and its too
cold to heat your tires and you want to go home.
3) Corvettes, F-bodies have to run in a pax class
called O-Stock
4) Anything else is OK.
5) There may not be straight of more than 89.2 inches
on any course (Miata wheelbase)
6) All cars must make 80 runs. Only your 80th time
counts.
7) Any mechanical failure before your 80th run results
in a DQ.
Otherwise all rules are as per SIIR.

Lets do it, of course would could only sign up 4 people and each pay $200 to
get 80 laps. I do think the Miata only autox would be an easy event to
coordinate, and there are enough cars in the greater bay area to make it
happen.
