practice event setup workers

Derek and I would like a few people to help setup.  As usual, this will satisfy
your work requirement.  Because we often get *too many* people volunteering and
not working their regular assignments (creating a shortage), we're limiting it
to 10 people, first come first served.

I already have a couple of commits, but there are still spots available....
