Well...You would think that after almost fifteen years of writing for North
American Pylon I would know how to edit my scribblings so they can be
understood. Shows you what happens when I try to type and drink coffee at
the same time. Gobbledy Gook. Hey! The sticky bun was delicious.
Our good friend Eric mis-understood me when I wrote that the region gives a
dollar credit to workers. What I probably shouls have said is that the
region establishes an account for each worker registered to a specialty.
They credit that account at a certain rate per day worked. Let's say for
the sake of argument the amount is $5.00. The credits accumulate during the
membership year and are used to help defray the membership fee for the
following year.
>From our perspective here in Pittsburgh, this would almost have to be done
from Topeka since we work races for six regions, some in the NEDIV and some
in CENDIV at two tracks in two states, Nelson Ledges and BeaveRun. It would
be very hard to get something worked out between all those folks.
Mea Culpa on the confusing syntax.
