STX or STU pony cars?

I've been a little out of touch with STX and STU competition, so pardon me if 
these are dumb questions...

Is anyone running a 305 Camarobird or 302 Mustang in STX?  If so, is there a 
better tire than a Falken Azenis 245/45-17?  I'm wondering if the azenis in 
that size gets too hot on those cars.  

How about STU?  Anyone running a Camarobird or Mustang?  What tires work in 
275 width?
