Brad,

Have him check out Trailex aluminum trailers at <www.trailex.com>.
They have both open and enclosed models. These trailers are very
popular with PCA folks, among others, so they already know what
configuration you need to accommodate a 996....low ground clearance
when loading and rear weight bias when on the trailer. They are more
expensive than your typical steel trailer, but due to their popularity with
Porsche owners, they hold their resale value extremely well.

He should take a look at their enclosed model, much better security for
an expensive car but still light enough and compact enough to tow with
an SUV. Their factory is located in Ohio, but I believe they will deliver
anywhere in the country.
