With a fully charged battery in good service, we made 8 pulls on the dyno
back to back. Alternator connected for two pulls and then disconnected for
two pulls. No difference in results, in either torque or hp
figures. None. 1.8 Miata
If it was going to hurt the output, a weak Miata should be one that coughed
up power to any loss system.
