Mike, If what Mike and Charles recommend doesn't work (before the disassembly part), try this if there is some way to get access to the clutch/pressure plate via an inspection plate or other opening. Push the clutch pedal in and try wedging a putty knife, chisel, screwdriver or whatever will fit between the clutch disc and/or the flywheel or pressure plate. My Lotus Europa used to have this problem. Fortunately it had a convenient opening in the bell housing (to check timing) which allowed access to the clutch assembly for this method.
