I was wondering if notching a roll bar will render it
completely useless. Of course the notch would be
finished with equal thickness plate, and I could even
add a short length of oversized tubing (also notched)
around the notched tube, but I'll drop the whole idea
if it is going to ruin the roll bars effectiveness.
