Well, I would never put drilled rotors on anything I own unless the
rotors were solid. That statement does not apply to rotors that have
the holes cast/forged in them, as Porsche' rotors are made. Any vented
rotor that has had holes drilled through it has massive stress risers
on the inside of the vent holes where it is impossible to chamfer the
sharp edges of the holes. I can remember standing next to a car that
had come off the track and hearing a "tink", followed by the sound of a
piece of the rotor landing on the inside of the wheel. Needless to
say, his day was done and the car had to be towed home.
