Folks, this is an important point. The cross section of the lug bolt/nut must
match the wheel. If you use an acorn-shaped bolt/nut on a wheel designed with a
straight tapered seat, the bolt/nut will only make single point contact (in
cross section). Likewise, if you use a straight taper bolt/nut on a wheel
designed with acorn-shaped seats, the bolt/nut will only make two points of
contact. If you use the proper bolts/nuts, the contact will be a continuous
line (in cross section). Without proper contact between the bolt/nut and the
seat, you risk the bolt/nut damaging the wheel and/or getting loose.

P.S. Do the Kosei's have steel inserts in the seats? Is BBS the only wheel
manufacturer still using inserts?
