Help on Course Designing

I'm the VP for the Sports Car Club of NH and asked about "Guidelines" , what 
to avoid, what works, etc., for the Course Engineer. Jim Murphy suggested 
that I mail you and ask for a copy of Roger (the real) Johnson's "How To" 
Paper.  

We are an independent club and would appreciate any guidance in this area.
